Wells of Life was recently recognized at the Better World Awards Roc 4 Humanity Gala held in New York City.

This evening, the Ellis Island Honors Society (EIHS) hosted the 32nd annual Ellis Island Medals of Honor Ceremony on Ellis Island where over one hundred medalists were recognized for their leadership and service within their communities and professions while exemplifying the values of the American way of life. In addition to the star-studded list of medalists, artist Tony Shafrazi, Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff and Victoria Floethe joined in celebration on Ellis Island.

The Board of Trustees of the Morris Museum announced that it has recently elected a new member:  Sassona Norton.  In making the announcement, Gerri Horn, the Board's Chairman, said: The Trustees of the Morris Museum are honored to welcome Sassona to the Board.  She is an internationally recognized voice in the art world, an artist of major consequence, and a spirited advocate for artistic and cultural endeavors.'

COSTA MESA, CA – Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes the return of Les Ballets de Monte- Carlo February 11 – 13, 2016 with another American premiere: Jean-Christophe Maillot's Choré, featuring music by Danny Elfman and John Cage. Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo appears at the Center under the Presidency of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover. This marks the Ballets' third visit to the Center, having previously brought the Southern California premiere the company's Cinderella and the American premiere of LAC.

Julian Lennon's White Feather Foundation, dedicated to the betterment of life, has contributed $100,000 to Music for Relief's Nepal aid fund. At the onset of the earthquake crisis, Julian launched a funding campaign through his Foundation via his social media platforms, including personally matching each donation. Music for Relief has been active in providing immediate aid since the devastating magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck on April 25. Funds raised are used to enable our partners on the ground to provide food, water, shelter, sanitation solutions, and to develop long-term recovery plans.

Yesterday, July 5, Iggy Pop and The Stooges performed during an open-air concert in front of The Prince's Palace of Monaco. The members of the band Iggy And The Stooges include Iggy Pop, Scott Asheton, Steve Mackay, James Williamson, and Mike Watt.
