Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo to Return to New York City for the Holidays

Beloved around the world for their brilliant artistry and unparalleled comic-timing, the astounding Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, recently nominated for three UK National Dance Awards including a Stef Stefanou Award for Outstanding Company, will be presented by The Joyce Theater (Linda Shelton, Executive Director) for its bi-annual three-week engagement, the perfect holiday treat, from December 13 - 31, 2016.

The Coasters to Play Ridgefield Playhouse This January

With hits like "Yakety Yak," "Poison Ivy," "Searchin" and "Charlie Brown" The Coasters cemented their place in Rock and Roll history, and in 1987 became the first vocal group inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The Coasters will take the stage of The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, January 14 at 8 pm as part of the Pepsi Rock Series Powered by Xfinity.

Nell'ambito della rassegna 'Spazio del racconto' al Teatro Brancaccino va in scena 'Gl'innamorati di Goldoni' dall'01 al 04 dicembre. La piece non e l'attualizzazione dell'omonima commedia scritta da Goldoni nel 1759, ma ne e la radicale riscrittura contemporanea. Le differenze fra l'opera originaria e questa nuova commedia sono le stesse che corrono fra l'attualita e la contemporaneita. Una drammaturgia che raduna tutte le opposizioni del sentimento e della morale, tutti i sintomi, le mode, gli stili del presente in una radicale rivisitazione del classico di Goldoni, trasportandolo a un'altra latitudine e a un'altra temperatura del contemporaneo.
