Broadway Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of the new musical BIG FISH digitally on Friday, February 7, 2014 and everywhere music is sold on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. The Broadway musical Big Fish will play its final performance on Sunday, December 29, 2013, but the show will have a life after its run at the Neil Simon Theatre. A 92Y representative confirmed that, Susan Stroman, who was a panelist at last night's 'From Book to Screen: Big Fish- A Conversation with the Creative Team' at the 92Y, revealed that an original cast album is on the way.

On November 24th at 9:30pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 4: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Norbert Leo Butz, who is currently leading BIG FSH at the Neil Simon Theatre, will be out of the show tonight, October 10, due to illness. Butz revealed to BroadwayWolrd's Richard Ridge on Sunday's opening night that he was feeling 'under the weather.' Understudy Ben Crawford will step in for Butz in his absence.
