Frontier Comedy are thrilled to announce the return of Olivier and Tony Award winning Scottish actor, author and cabaret icon Alan Cumming, for the last ever performances of his critically acclaimed cabaret Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs this June.

The York Theatre Company, announces the Off-Broadway premiere of the new musical Marry Harry, with book by Jennifer Robbins (Hudson River Blues) and music and lyrics by Dan Martin and Michael Biello (In My Body, The Cousins Grimm). Directed and choreographed by York favorite Bill Castellino (Cagney, Storyville), performances are set to begin Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 21, 2017

Today, January 27, Julio invites actor Paul Linke, who will be discussing his autobiographical one-person play, It's Time, currently running at Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica. The production ends January 29, prior to moving to another facility. 

Given the uproar in our society today, it's the perfect time to get to the Ruskin Group Theatre for the World Premiere of IT'S TIME written and performed by Paul Linke and directed with great insight into personal acceptance and growth by Edward Edwards. I walked out of the theater in tears, convinced the way to celebrate and live my life in celebration is to look to the future with love and hope, and not live convinced the way to more forward is by focusing on the disappointments seen in rear-view mirror of my life.

IT'S TIME originates from Paul Linke's true story Time Flies When You're Alive,an HBO Showcase (Ace Award nominee). This remarkable journey, directed by Edward Edwards, celebrates the paths we choose in life and the resilience of a young family, once broken, living in Los Angeles. Award winning writer/performer Paul Linke's new chapter gives audiences a look at how a once lost young man found his way to a success future, by taking a chance and grabbing at the opportunities and strength that he saw around him.

Powerhouse theatre program CCM brought the legacy to Broadway Sessions last week. Let's face it, there's not a Broadway show running without a CCM alum up in there. The 2016 graduating class performed alongside starry alums- Jessica Hendy (Cats, Aida), Max Chernin (Bright Star) and Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton, Beautiful, Sister Act). Lunar River in association with Mack Sennett Studios has announced the world premiere of Salome, a radically queer reinvention of the ancient tale, written by Christopher Adams-Cohen and directed by Patrick Kennelly. Salome will run for four weeks only with two preview performances on January 31 and February 4 at 8pm. Opening is set for Friday, February 5 at 8pm. Salome will run through February 28 at The Basement at Mack Sennett Studios.
