IT'S TIME originates from Paul Linke's true story Time Flies When You're Alive,an HBO Showcase (Ace Award nominee). This remarkable journey, directed by Edward Edwards, celebrates the paths we choose in life and the resilience of a young family, once broken, living in Los Angeles. Award winning writer/performer Paul Linke's new chapter gives audiences a look at how a once lost young man found his way to a success future, by taking a chance and grabbing at the opportunities and strength that he saw around him.

"Paul's story is a wonderful reminder to all of us, that even when you think the world's got you beat, just hang onto something you are passionate about and something good will come of it. It's about not quitting a second before the miracle happens," says producer Michael Myers.

Playwright/Performer Paul Linke earned a Drama Desk and Outer Critic's Circle Award nomination for Save It For The Stage - The Life of Reilly (which he co-wrote and directed) starring comic legend Charles Nelson Reilly at the Irish Rep, in NYC. He co-founded the Garden Theatre Festival (Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award) and was a member of the Company Theatre. Paul was the original artistic director/founder of the Powerhouse Theatre in Santa Monica where he created his celebrated play Time Flies When You're Alive, later filmed as an HBO Showcase special and nominated for a Cable Ace Award. He continued his autobiographical solo work with Life After Time, which premiered at the Pasadena Playhouse. Charles Nelson Reilly directed the third installment of Paul's "Time Trilogy" Father Time, at the Pacific Resident Theatre. Directing credits include Nobody Don't Like Yogistarring Ben Gazzara Off-Broadway at the Lamb's Theatre and ...But First, Sammy Shore for which he won the ADA for Best Direction of an Original Play. He has developed and staged numerous solo plays including Caterpillar Soup, Save It For The Stage, Capture Now, The Law of Return (with Shelly Berman), and Wilde and Wonderful (Two Ovation Award Nominations). He is recognized for his role as Artie Grossman on the NBC-TV series CHiPs as well as for his film credits, which include Motel Hell, his co-starring role in Parenthood, and K-PAX.

"This is a story that I have needed to tell for a long time," Linke believes. "I respect the importance of expressing gratitude to those who help us become the people that we are today."

Director Edward Edwards has worked on Broadway in Mike Nichols production of Streamers and in the title role in The Nerd. He directed RGT's productions of The Collector, All My Sons, and High Rollers, adding directing awards to his long career in theatre forAll My Sons, The Dream of the Burning Boy, and Tender Napalm. Other credits include Another Part of the Forest at The Ahmanson, Porgy and Bess at LA Opera, Baby With The Bathwater at The Coronet Theatre and The Hasty Heart for which he won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor. Currently, Edward is an Associate Artist with Global Arts Corps.

"I wanted to explore how love can save you, in times of grief, in times of doubt, and how it can give us all strength to live in the moment," says Edwards.
