KINKY BOOTS Struts Into the West End Tonight

The UK premiere of Kinky Boots, Broadway's huge-hearted, high-heeled hit and winner of six Tony Awards, will open at London's Adelphi Theatre on 15 September 2015, with previews from tonight 21 August 2015.

John Richardson Steps Down as The Old Vic's Producer

Matthew Warchus, Artistic Director of the Old Vic, has announced that John Richardson is to step down as Producer at the end of the month. He will maintain active connections with the Old Vic in a freelance role, working particularly on developing musicals with Warchus alongside other projects.

West End's KINKY BOOTS Extends into 2016

The upcoming UK premiere of Kinky Boots, Broadway's huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, today announces the opening of a new booking period, with tickets now available until Saturday 6 February 2016. Tickets for this extended period will go on sale from Monday 29 June 2015. Winner of six Broadway Tony® Awards, Kinky Boots will open at London's Adelphi Theatre on 15 September 2015, with previews from 21 August 2015.

NT Live Re-Broadcasts THE AUDIENCE, Starring Helen Mirren, Today

Beginning today, June 25, National Theatre Live will present encore screenings of Peter Morgan's The Audience, starring Academy & Tony Award winner Helen Mirren, and directed by Stephen Daldry, to select cinema screens in markets internationally. These screenings will include an exclusive In Conversation with Stephen Daldry and Helen Mirren.

West End's THE AUDIENCE, with Kristin Scott Thomas, to Close, July 25

Stephen Daldry's hit production of Peter Morgan's The Audience will complete its run at the Apollo Theatre on 25 July 2015 as previously announced.  The production, starringKristin Scott Thomas as The Queen, opened in May to critical acclaim. The Audience - a play about the weekly meeting between the Queen and her Prime Ministers - has designs by Bob Crowley, with lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti and music by Paul Englishby.

Full Cast Set for UK Premiere of TENNESSEE WILLIAMS' ONE ARM, Adapted by Moises Kaufman

Alex Turner Productions today announces the full cast for the UK premiere of Tennessee Williams' One Arm adapted for the stage by Moises Kaufman. Josh Seymour directs Joe Jameson (The Divinity Student), Georgia Kerr (The Girl in the French Quarter), Peter Hannah (The Guard), James Tucker (Lester) and Tom Varey (Ollie Olsen). The company members play multiple roles around the central character of Ollie Olsen - characters weaving through the complex tapestry of his life. The production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 12 June, with previews from 10 June, and runs until 4 July.

Peter Morgan Updates THE AUDIENCE Following General Election

Following the General Election, Peter Morgan has today (8 May 2015) updated his script for The Audience - a play about the weekly meeting between the Queen and her Prime Ministers - on the day HMQ invites David Cameron to form a new Government.  The updated scene between The Queen and David Cameron, played by Kristin Scott Thomas and Mark Dexter, will be performed for the first time at this evening's performance.
