Broadway hit School of Rock is offering one lucky Little Kids Rock Auction bidder the chance to win tickets to see the show in style.

With the return of the national tour Charlotte, this time at cavernous Ovens Auditorium, I persisted in my folly long after the curtain rose. Silly me, I overlooked the fine print in my playbill under the florid romance novel italics of the DIRTY DANCING logo: 'the classic story on stage.'

Thanks to a grant from Mass Humanities, WAM Theatre is able to offer a comprehensive audience enrichment program around their upcoming co-production with the Berkshire Theatre Group of The Bakelite Masterpiece by Kate Cayley and directed by WAM Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven. These include post-show conversations with the playwright and other notable scholars, program notes, and a lobby display and resource list exploring Truth and Reconciliation from World War II to today, along with a subsidized ticket program.

Hennepin Theatre Trust will present the critically acclaimed National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME as part of the 2016-2017 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin Season Nov. 29-Dec. 4 at the historic Orpheum Theatre. The Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens is adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel and directed by Tony winner Marianne Elliott.
