The 2011 Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Flea Market ran on Sunday, September 25th from 10 AM - 7 PM on West 44th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, and, for the first time, extended into Times Square, between 43rd and 44th Streets. Produced by Rock-it Science Records and currently in it's thirteenth year, purchase of the album benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This highly anticipated annual holiday release features casts from the current line-up of prestigious shows performing new and traditional holiday music. Broadway's Carols for a Cure offers a 'snapshot' of each season, as the casts and orchestras from each show on Broadway perform their own holiday track. BroadwayWorld was there for the PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT session and brings you photo coverage below!

Gifted jazz vocalist Jane Monheit sang the score of Cole Porter's Anything Goes to swinging new arrangements by bassist Mary Ann McSweeney at the Broadway at Birdland concert series on Monday, September 19. This event was a fundraiser for The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. Broadway leading man Marc Kudisch joined in on the fun with a hilarious duet and dazzling solo turn during the sold-out, jazz-tinged evening of music.

Named one of New York's 'Best Once-a-Year Markets,' the annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction will be held from 10 AM - 7 PM on Sunday, September 25 in Times Square & on West 44th Street. The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that jazz vocalist Jane Monheit will be performing swinging new Mary Ann McSweeney arrangements of the beloved Cole Porter classic, Anything Goes on Monday, September 19 at 7pm. Broadway leading man Marc Kudisch will be Jane's special guest.

Last night, September 12, FOLLIES opened on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre. Performances began on Sunday, August 7th for James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES, directed by Eric Schaeffer, with choreography by Warren Carlyle and music direction by James Moore. With a 28-piece orchestra, FOLLIES features a cast of 41 and stars two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters as Sally Durant Plummer, four-time Tony Award nominee Jan Maxwell as Phyllis Rogers Stone, two-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein as Buddy Plummer, three-time Emmy Award nominee Ron Raines as Benjamin Stone and Olivier Award winner Elaine Paige as Carlotta Campion.
