Christopher Sieber, Andrea McArdle & More Set for SALON 2013 to Benefit BC/EFA, 9/30

On September 30 (7pm), some of Broadway's biggest stars will sing a song or tell their story at an intimate Salon benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at 210 Central Park South. Among the performers scheduled to appear are Maya Days, Meghann Fahy, Felicia Finley, Jose Llana, Andrea McArdle, N'Kenge, Chris Noth, Kate Shindle, Christopher Sieber and Kevin Spirtas.

Lorna Luft & Liza Minnelli to Join Forces for LORNA'S PINK PARTY- Actors Fund Benefit at Birdland, 10/14 & 21

The Actors Fund, the nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, will present the 2013 edition of Nothing Like a Dame: Lorna's Pink Party, a benefit for the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative and the Dr. Philomena McAndrew Fund of Tower Cancer Research Foundation. This highly anticipated event, starring entertainment legend LORNA LUFT with her special guest LIZA MINNELLI will take place for two nights only on Monday, October 14th at 7 pm, and Monday, October 21st at 7 pm, at Birdland, 315 West 44th Street, New York City.

Moving Image to Screen FUN CITY: NEW YORK IN THE MOVIES 1967-75, Begin. Today

Movies filmed in New York City that tapped into the turmoil, chaos, and social and cultural energies of the late 1960s and early 1970s are the subject of the screening series Fun City: New York in the Movies 1967-75, curated by film critic and historian J. Hoberman. The series, which will be accompanied by a new monograph written by Hoberman, includes nineteen films, and will be presented by Museum of the Moving Image from August 10 through September 1. The films include established classics such as Rosemary's Baby, The French Connection, Midnight Cowboy, and Dog Day Afternoon, as well as lesser known films such as The Angel Levine, Bye Bye Braverman, and Cotton Comes to Harlem.

STAGE TUBE: Alan Cumming to Headline Bucks County Cabaret for BC/EFA, 10/19

Stage and screen star Alan Cumming, a Tony Award winner for his unforgettable Broadway debut as the Emcee in the revival of Cabaret, will share his wit, charm and talents at this year's BUCKS COUNTY CABARET, a one-night-only concert produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The eclectic evening of popular songs and Broadway show tunes will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the historic Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA.

CHITA: A LEGENDARY CELEBRATION to Open at August Wilson Theatre for One-Night Only on October 7

BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS announced today that CHITA: A LEGENDARY CELEBRATION has found its Broadway home. The star-studded benefit concert celebrating and starring the legendary Chita Rivera will play the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52 Street, New York City) at 8 pm on Monday, October 7, 2013. The one-night only performance in honor of Rivera's 80th birthday will be produced by and benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

BROADWAY BARES 23 Raises Record-Breaking $1.4 Million!

BROADWAY BARES 23: UNITED STRIPS OF AMERICA, a randy road trip of modern-day burlesque featuring 220 of New York's sexiest dancers, raised an all-time record high for the fourth year in a row on Sunday, hitting $1,430,241 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Tony Winners Judith Light, Billy Porter & Alan Cumming to Appear at BROADWAY BARES this Weekend!

This year's BROADWAY BARES will feature special appearances by 2013 Tony Award winners Judith Light (The Assembled Parties) and Billy Porter (Kinky Boots), Tony and Olivier Award winner Alan Cumming (Macbeth), and musical performers The Skivvies (Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina). Bravo TV host and executive Andy Cohen will announce the winners of this year's Strip-a-thon online fundraiser at the midnight performance.

Florida State Thespians Raise $44,041 for BC/EFA

Florida State Thespians banded together yet again this school year to raise $44,041 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a record-setting year for them and more than any other education-based organization in the country.

Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd Artistic Director and TriStan Wilson Managing Director, presents the Bernstein/Comden/Green musical On the Town now through July 13 on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield.
