Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to Charlotte in July. Performances begin on July 28 and run through August 2 at the Belk Theater.

The Donmar Warehouse production of Friedrich Schiller's MARY STUART, starring Janet McTeer as Mary, Queen of Scots and Harriet Walter as Elizabeth I, in a new version by Peter Oswald and directed by Phyllida Lloyd is now in the final four weeks of its limited run on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). The critically acclaimed production plays through Sunday, August 16 only.

There will be an additional matinee of 'MAMMA MIA!' at 3.00pm on Tuesday 25 August at the Prince of Wales Theatre. This is a special matinee performance to celebrate Kids Week in London. At this performance for each ticket purchased for an adult, one child may go free. A further two tickets for children may also be purchased at half price. These prices are only applicable if the tickets are booked in one transaction.

MAMMA MIA!, the global phenomenon is set to return to Australia for strictly limited seasons in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. Due to overwhelming demand, the international tour of 'MAMMA MIA!' will extend its scheduled run from 12 December 2009 - 10 January 2010 by an extra week until 17 January 2010. 'MAMMA MIA!' is already the highest selling event that the Metro Radio Arena has had in thirteen years with over 70,000 tickets sold so far.
