The Top Five - Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez - return to the IDOL stage to sing for America's votes on a British music-themed performance show.

AMERICAN IDOL LIVE! returns this summer for another hit tour to showcase this season's talented top 10 finalists. Launching the careers of many, the AMERICAN IDOL LIVE! Tour is the first chance to see your favorites in concert!

Ryan announced that after 58 million votes had been counted, Elise, Hollie, and Skylar were in the bottom three, which meant that Jessica, Joshua, and Phillip were in the top three. Ryan quickly sent Skylar to safety, leaving Elise and Hollie in the bottom two. Then Elise was the last contestant standing.

Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum artist Carrie Underwood will perform on next week's AMERICAN IDOL. One of AMERICAN IDOL's most successful winners, Underwood has sold more than 12 million records worldwide. Another Grammy Award-winning, chart-topping act, the world-famous alternative rock band Coldplay, also will perform, hitting the IDOL stage for the first time.

American Idol kicks things off this week with an overly dramatic movie-esque recap of last week's events. For those of you who are suffering from Idol amnesia: Jessica Sanchez got the judges' save. This week on Ammmerican Idol, it's...well, usually Idol will officially announce the themes a few days before the show airs, but this week they didn't. So is it a super special, wonderful theme that will blow us right off our feet? Nope, but it is 'Songs from this Decade,' which limits the remaining seven to songs from the last two years and is usually one of my favorite episodes of the season.
