Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season continues with its CABARET SERIES featuring CARNER & GREGOR (ISLAND SONG). Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls), in the recently renovated Cabaret space on July 31st and August 1st at 7:30pm. On Thursday June 23rd, Truth Slash Fiction, a television pilot about a group of high schoolers who write gay erotic fan fiction about their favorite boyband will make its premiere at SeriesFest in Denver. The pilot features original pop music, fantasy sequences and performances by Broadway favorites Matt Doyle, Daniel Quadrino and Tony-winner Cady Huffman, among others.

The sold-out audience at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre was dazzled last night, March 21, 2016, by this year's stirring edition of Broadway Backwards. The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record. The evening raised an incredible $480,287 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City.
