The final day of WOMADelaide 2016 started with cooler weather, much to everyone's delight.

The Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA (CWRU/CPH MFA) Acting Program will present Mary Zimmerman's METAMORPHOSES in the Helen Rosenfeld Lewis Bialosky Lab Theatre ('The Helen') at Playhouse Square for 10 performances only, tonight, March 16, through Mrach 26, 2016.

Today, from the historic Studebaker Theater, Chicago Opera Theater (COT) announced plans for its 2016/17 season, which will bring rarely performed operas and a world premiere to a range of Chicago neighborhoods, will target new types of audiences and will set the stage for a bold future ahead for the company now in its 43rd season. At the event, Andreas Mitisek, COT's Stefan Edlis & Gael Neeson General Director, detailed the ambitious new season, which will feature performances at the Music Box Theatre, the Studebaker Theater Chicago and the Harris Theater for Music and Dance.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the West Coast premiere of Treasure Island by Tony Award-winning director Mary Zimmerman. Critically praised as "nothing short of sublime" (Chicago-Sun Times), and "Zimmerman remains a superior storyteller " (Chicago Tribune), Treasure Island, a co-production with Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company, is a glorious adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's most beloved novel.
