Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) presents EVERYDAY RAPTURE, written by Dick Scanlan (Tony nominee for Thoroughly Modern Millie) and Sherie Rene Scott (Tony nominee for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), with musical supervision by Tom Kitt(Next to Normal, High Fidelity), directed by Michael Mayer (Tony Award winner for Spring Awakening). Previews began on Tuesday, April 7; the opening took place last night, Sunday, May 3, 2009. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there to capture all the celebrating!

Anna Deavere Smith's 'LET ME DOWN EASY' Set for Second Stage Theatre, Previews B

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) will launch its 31st season this fall with the New York premiere of Anna Deavere Smith's LET ME DOWN EASY. Conceived, written, and performed by Ms. Smith and directed by Leonard Foglia, LET ME DOWN EASY will begin preview performances on Tuesday, September 15 and will officially open in early October.

Second Stage Presents Special Halloween Ticket Offer for BOYS LIFE

On Friday, October 31 at 6:00PM, free tickets will be handed out to the first 25 guests who arrive dressed in their best 80's fashion to the BOYS' LIFE box office. Performance begins at 7:00PM. Line forms at 6:00PM. Second Stage Theatre is located at 307 W. 43rd Street, just west of 8th Avenue.

'A Boys' Life' Begins Preview Performances Tonight, 10/2 at Second Stage

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) will kick off its 30th Anniversary Season with a new production of Howard Korder's comedy, BOYS' LIFE, directed by Michael Greif starting tonight, October 2nd. The official opening will be Monday, October 20th. This 20th Anniversary production of BOYS' LIFE will feature Jason Biggs, Rhys Coiro, and Peter Scanavino as 'the boys' as well as Dan Colman, Michelle Federer, Betty Gilpin, Paloma Guzman, Laura-Leigh, and Stephanie March.
