The Daily Mail writes that Donmar's artistic director Josie Rourke is in talks to transfer CITY OF ANGELS to the West End. Negotiations are in the early stages, so no word yet on a timeline or whether the original cast will travel with the show.

Stage One, the charity that supports new UK commercial theatre producers and productions, today announces the latest recipient of its Start-Up Investment Fund. Stephen McGill has been awarded £50,000 by the charity to co-produce the West End transfer of the critically acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre production of The Pajama Game. He will co-produce alongside Joseph Smith, Old Vic Productions, John Brant and Gavin Kalin. The production, directed by Richard Eyre, begins previews at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 2 May 2014 and stars Joanna Riding, Michael Xavier, Peter Polycarpou, Gary Wilmot and Colin Stinton.
It joins GYPSY, with Imelda Staunton, as one of the big musicals of the summer, and features Jamie Parker, Clare Foster, Sophie Thompson and Peter Polycarpou

They join the previously announced Joanna Riding and Michael Xavier. The Pajama Game opens at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 13 May, with previews from 2 May, playing until 13 September 2014.
WestEndFest is back for its first concert of 2014 on 2 March at The Actors Church in Covent Garden. It was founded two years ago by West-End theatre actress Sabrina Aloueche and Parnell Page, and has since become a hugely popular bi-annual celebration combining dance, comedy, songs and raising money for charity.
