Jeffrey Kuhn and Francesca Faridany joined the cast of Alfred Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS on Tuesday, October 28.

Imelda Staunton and Mathew Horne are cast in a major revival of Joe Orton's comic masterpiece, Entertaining Mr Sloane. Directed by Nick Bagnall, this dark study of sexual manners will run at the Trafalgar Studios 1 from 22 January to 11 April 2009 with press night on Friday 30 January, in a co-production with Michael Edwards & Carole Winter and English Touring Theatre.

Patrick Barlow's adaptation of The 39 Steps, directed by Maria Aitken, will celebrate its second birthday this month as over 140,000 tickets are released for a new booking period, until 6 September 2009. Samuel West will direct Harley Granville Barker's Waste, which runs at the Almeida from 25 September - 15 November 2008, with press night on 2 October. Designs are by Peter McKintosh with lighting by Guy Hoare and sound by John Leonard.

On Tuesday September 23rd, 2008 the 'First Annual Hitchcock Look-a-Like Contest' took place on stage at the Cort Theatre, home of 'The 39 Steps'. The event was part of the month long celebration of Hitchcock Month.

The critically acclaimed Broadway production originally opened on January 15, 2008 at Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre, where it played through March 29. The show moved to the Cort on April 29 and officially reopened on May 8.
