Peter Martins, Ballet Master in Chief of New York City Ballet, and George Steel, General Manager and Artistic Director of New York City Opera, today unveiled the results of the renovation of their shared home, the David H. Koch Theater, which is located on the campus of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Lincoln Center: Celebrating 50 Years, the first exhibition to focus exclusively on the evolution and influence of America's first performing arts center, will feature an extensive collection of some 400 historic and contemporary objects including photographs, ephemera, correspondence, costumes, set pieces, props and video recordings.

As construction resumes at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, following a scheduled hiatus for New York City Ballet's winter season, New York City Opera and New York City Ballet announced today that the scope of work for the joint $80 million renovation of the theater is being expanded to include a redesign of the theater's orchestra level seating to add two side aisles.
