Ventura's Rubicon Theatre Company is delighted to announce the next evening in their Broadway Cabaret Benefit Concert Series, Lillias White in MY GUY CY on February 27, 2012 at 7pm.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Makes Appearance on PBS, 2/16

On Thursday, February 16, Andrew Lloyd Webber will be featured on PBS's NYC Arts, airing on THIRTEEN from 8-8.30pm EST, and again on Sunday 19th February from 12-12.30pm EST. The interview will also air on WLIW/Long Island Channel 21 on Friday 17th February at 7pm EST, and on NJTV on Sunday 19th February at 8.30pm EST.

Alan Rickman to Depart SEMINAR April 1; Jeff Goldblum to Join Cast!

Two-time Tony Award nominee, Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Alan Rickman (Private Lives, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, the Harry Potter franchise) will play his final performance on Sunday, April 1 in SEMINAR by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Peabody Award winner Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius, The Understudy, Omnium Gatherum, NBC's new hit series "Smash"), directed by Obie Award winner Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation, The Aliens, Kin, The Coward).

Nancy Opel Set Returns to Broadway's MEMPHIS

Nancy Opel will return to the company of the 2010 Tony Award winning Best Musical MEMPHIS as "Mama." Opel will begin performances today. Current "Mama" Cass Morgan played her final performance on Sunday, February 12th. Opel returns from a leave of absence where she appeared in David Bryan and Joe DiPietro's The Toxic Avenger at The Alley Theater in Houston, TX

Nick Jonas, currently starring in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, was joined by Charlotte St. Martin (Executive Director of the Broadway League), Jordan Roth (President of Jujamcyn Theaters and Founder of Givenik.com) and Bret Pidgeon (General Manager of Madame Tussauds NY) to kick-off a pre-theater party for KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY® ticketholders on Tuesday, February 7th starting at 2:30 p.m. at Madame Tussauds New York. Following the kick-off, the fanfest event will proceed from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

VENUS IN FUR, the acclaimed new play by David Ives, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie starring Tony Award nominee Nina Arianda and Emmy Award nominee Hugh Dancy began performances at its new home at the Lyceum Theatre last night, February 7. Two of the brightest lights from the new Broadway generation-two-time Tony nominee Gavin Creel and Stephen Oremus, the Tony-winning music director and arranger of Wicked and The Book of Mormon recently appeared in a secial concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The duo joined forces on February 4, for a special evening that mixes alternative rock and theater tunes with new material to create a modern American songbook.
