Angels, a new musical based on Milton's epic poem, Paradise Lost, will premiere on Broadway during the 2008-9 season. Written by the new Australian team of Ken Lai (book, music and lyrics) and Marcus Cheong (book and lyrics), Angels will feature a cast of 24, including Robert Cuccioli, Jessica Grové and Nicholas Rodriguez, in the leading roles. The musical gave a special presentation on Wednesday July 9th to an invited audience, and BroadwayWorld.com was there!
The Ross School produced @ross series is pleased to announce additions to their already exciting lineup for their summer events. Newly confirmed for CLASSICAL @ROSS are Grammy Award winning pianist, Emanuel Ax and the critically acclaimed classical violinist, Joshua Bell. THEATER @ROSS confirms Michael Cavanaugh, who was personally chosen by Billy Joel to be the star of 'Movin' Out'. International best selling author and lecturer Marianne Willamson is confirmed to take part in the WELL-BEING @ROSS event. Also, the hilarious Greg Giraldo joins the COMEDY @ROSS lineup. Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group will provide food for all the events except Andre Agassi Foundation benefit.

Scott Wolf and JoBeth Williams have been announced to join the cast of LA Theater Works' production of 'Broadway Bound' at the Skirball Center. Wolf replaced the previously announced Josh Radnor as 'Eugene Morris Jerome'. Williams will be taking on the role of 'Kate'.

This past Friday, June 27, The Samsung Experience Store, located on the third floor of the Time Warner Center, hosted an afternoon with the cast of A Catered Affair. The afternoon events included a meet and greet with cast members, including stars Tom Wopat, Matt Cavenaugh and Harvey Fierstein, a special in-store performance from Mr. Wopat, and a cast CD signing.
On Thursday June 26th, DON'T QUIT proudly celebrated its 2nd anniversary. The show began as a one-off benefit on June 26, 2006 at Joe's Pub, which grew into 10 sellout months. In the spring of 2007, a commercial production played off-Broadway at the HA! Comedy Club in Times Square.
