On Tuesday, April 22, 2008, past Drama League Award recipients Norbert Leo Butz and Christine Ebersole, along with [title of show] co-author and star Hunter Bell, will announce the nominations for The 74th Annual Drama League Awards. The nominations will be announced at Sardi's Restaurant (234 West 44th Street) at 10:30 a.m. This year, for the first time in the history of the Drama League, the nominations announcement can also be viewed live on the internet, via an exclusive webcast hosted by BroadwayWorld.com.

The Actors Fund concert series entitled Musical Mondays, a series of Cabaret events in the lobby of the historic Pantages Theatre, will return this year. Produced by John Bowab and Martin Wiviott, all shows include pre-show cocktail reception at 7:30 pm and post-show dessert reception with the artists. On Monday March 24, the series kicks off with a tribute to Ron Abel. Scheduled to appear are Lucie Arnaz, Loretta Devine, Joely Fisher, Joey Gian, Marsha Kramer, Wayne Moore, Valarie Pettiford, Linda Purl and Giselle Wolf. Mike Nichols returns to Broadway this spring to direct Morgan Freeman, Frances McDormand and Peter Gallagher in Clifford Odets's The Country Girl. The production will play a limited engagement on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street) beginning Thursday, April 3 and open on Sunday, April 27.
