Roundabout's BURNING BOY Opens Tomorrow!

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of The Dream of the Burning Boy , a new play by David West Read, directed by Evan Cabnet, officially opens tomorrow, Wednesday, March 23rd. The Dream of the Burning Boy features Reed Birney (Larry), Josh Caras (Dane), Matt Dellapina (Steve), Jake O'Connor (Kyle), Jessica Rothenberg (Chelsea), Kristie Dale Sanders (Andrea), and Alexandra Socha (Rachel).

Massachusetts' Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest reaches a record 19,000 students from schools in 78 towns in its sixth year. The Huntington Theatre Company facilitates the Massachusetts segment of the national contest that brings poetry into the classroom in a dynamic way, growing students' speaking skills and self-confidence. The Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Huntington sponsor the Massachusetts contest; the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the Poetry Foundation sponsor the competition on the national level.

Fosse Tribute to Hit Studio 54, SONS OF THE PROPHET & LOOK BACK IN ANGER Play Roundabout in 2011-2012 Season

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced three productions as part of the 2011-2012 theatrical season. Bob Fosse's Dancin', a masterful tribute to legendary choreographer Bob Fosse, directed by Graciela Daniele, will play Studio 54 in the Fall of 2011. Sons of the Prophet by Stephen Karam, directed by Peter DuBois, will also premiere this Fall, while Look Back in Anger by John Osborne, directed by Sam Gold, will hit the stage in the Winter of 2012.

Huntington Theatre Company To Present Reading Of THE LUCK OF THE IRISH 2/3

The new play THE LUCK OF THE IRISH by Huntington Playwriting Fellow Kirsten Greenidge Bossa Nova will be read Thursday, February 3 at 7pm as part of the Huntington Theatre Company's Breaking Ground reading series. Obie Award winner Melia Bensussen Circle Mirror Transformation directs. The reading, located at the Huntington Rehearsal Hall, is free and open to the public, though reservations are required as seating is limited.
