American Theater Company's (ATC) Artistic Director Will Davis has announced Katie Klemme as ATC's new managing director, effective immediately. Klemme joins ATC in her new role after having been a resident stage manager with the company since 2008.

American Blues Theater announces the addition of a new Ensemble member and three new Artistic Affiliates.

"The Portrait" will make its world premiere this summer at the Greenhouse Theater Center (2257 N. Lincoln Ave.) as part of the theater's "Solo Celebration!" series, an eight-month series of provocative and powerful solo plays.

Written and directed by Susan Padveen, starring Cameron Pfiffner and co-produced with The Neopolitans, "The Portrait" tells the story of Gustav Klimt, the renowned painter of The Kiss, as he wrestles with a life- altering decision while also attempting to secure a sizable commission from a woman of Viennese society. The press performance will be Wednesday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Something Marvelous, Chicago's annual magical realism festival, presents their 2016 full length production DON'T LOOK by Gina Doherty. This world premiere production, directed by Artistic Director Emmi Hilger, begins performances today, June 17th, and runs through July 3rd at the Den Theatre.

This world premiere production, directed by Artistic Director Emmi Hilger, will open June 17th and run through July 3rd at the Den Theatre (1333 N Milwaukee Ave.) Performances will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights at 7:30PM, Sundays at 3:00PM, with one additional performance Saturday June 25th at 3PM.

Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland's Classic Company, concludes its 2016-17 season with the classic musical, The Fantasticks. The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, May 13-29, 2016. Victoria Bussert directs the production. The Fantasticks is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

In conjunction with a production of playwright Lorraine Hansberry's final work, The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window, Goodman Theatre presents a Lorraine Hansberry Celebration (today, April 30, through June 5), curated by Goodman Resident Director Chuck Smith.
