The New York Musical Theatre Festival, HOWMusical Inc., and DiStar Productions/Diana Glazer are pleased to announce the world premiere production of Deborah Abramson, Amanda Yesnowitz and Chip Zien's THE HISTORY OF WAR, with Brian Usifer as musical director, Darren Lee as choreographer, and directed by Nick Corley.

Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director), the State Theatre of California, and Tony-nominated director Sheryl Kaller (Broadway's Next Fall and Off-Broadway's Adrift in Macao) announced today Kaller's creative team for DANGEROUS BEAUTY and that Jenny Powers (Broadway's Grease as Rizzo and Little Women as Meg) will star as Veronica Franco.

Surflight Theatre Board President Gene Hammond announced today that Broadway producer (and Surflight alum) Roy Miller has been appointed to the leadership position of Producer at Surflight Theatre.

The Casting Society of America will fête their own on November 1, 2010, at the 26th Annual Artios Awards®. Producer Scott Sanders announced today that an additional four weeks of performances have been added to the limited Broadway engagement of the highly anticipated stage play, The Pee-wee Herman Show. Beginning previews October 26 and opening on November 11, the limited engagement was originally scheduled to run through December 5. The engagement will now add 32 performances and run through the Christmas and New Year's holidays, giving its final Broadway performance on January 2, 2011 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd street).
