For the second year in a row, big names are coming out in support of the dynamic Brooklyn based Afro-Caribbean dance company, Something Positive, for a spectacular one-night performance titled "Ancestral Chant" on Saturday, June 4th at 8PM, at Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts (Long Island University Brooklyn Campus - Flatbush Avenue between DeKalb Avenue and Willoughby Street).

Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, National Historic Landmark and recent recipient of a 2010 National Medal of Arts, today launches Jacob's Pillow Dance Interactive, an online video collection of dance highlights from 1937 through 2010.

Danceworks 2010 celebrates African-American choreographers whose work spans eight decades of dance performance history. The festival will end its run on April 11th.
