Logo, the entertainment network for gays, lesbians and their families and friends announced today that award-winning dancer/choreographer, dynamic performer, multi-platinum recording artist and popular entertainment personality, Paula Abdul will be honored with the Always Next, Forever Now Icon Award at the 2010 'NewNowNext Awards.' Given annually, this special award pays homage to a beloved pop icon. Paula is slated to accept her award in person at the 'NewNowNext Awards' taping at the Edison in Downtown Los Angeles on June 8th.

Paula Abdul has announced her return to the judges table and to television as she stars in a new TV series 'Got to Dance' on CBS. The show, which is based on a UK hit is, according to the Hollywood Reporter 'The show is billed as broadcast's first all-ages, all-genres dance series -- 'from ballroom to break dance, bhangra to ballet, and tap to tango.' Acts will compete for a panel of judges, with viewers getting to vote for their favorites during the semifinals and finals.'

TV Land scored record-breaking numbers for its eighth annual 'TV Land Awards' hosted by Tim Allen, attracting nearly 2 million total viewers for its Sunday, April 25 (9-10:30 p.m. ET/PT) telecast. The star-studded special, held on the historic Stage 15 on the Sony Lot in Culver City, was the highest-rated and most-watched TV Land Awards since 2004 among the network's key demos of: Adults 25-54, Adults 40-54, Women 25-54 and among total viewers. The network also witnessed double-digit ratings gains over last year's 'TV Land Awards' across all these demos.
