Paula Abdul and Kenny Ortega in Talks with NBC for New Dance Show

The Wrap is reporting that dancer and choreographer Paula Abdul is in talks with NBC to develop a new dance show which would also involve director and choreographer Kenny Ortega who is slated to produce the show.

The show would involve teams of contestants staging choreographed dance numbers in public spaces. Initial reports pegged it as a 'flash mob' dance show but the Wrap says this isn't so, citing a source familiar with the show's pitch who says, "This is way beyond that...this is enormous dance performance, far beyond what you'd expect to be able to do on television."
