Parsons Dance and Gala Chair Linda Stocknoff announce the company's 2012 Annual spring Gala, Paint it Red, honoring Nancy Browne, Parsons Dance friend and co-commissioner of 2011 premiere work Portinari, on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Espace, 635 W. 42nd Street, NYC. The evening will begin with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and silent auction at 7:30 p.m., followed by a dinner, live auction, and performance by Parsons Dance at 8:30 p.m., then a full night of social dancing. The Hartt School of the University of Hartford in Connecticut has announced that Eran Bugge of the Paul Taylor Dance Company will be the recipient of the 2012 Hartt Alumni Award. The Award will be conferred on Ms. Bugge, who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Hartt School in 2005, during Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 20, 2012.

The Martha Graham Dance Company (Janet Eilber, Artistic Director; LaRue Allen, Executive Director) is having a special engagement at The Joyce Theater, NYC; March 13-18. Inner Landscape, the latest offering in the company's innovative series of thematic performances including contextual media and narration, features the acclaimed Graham psychological works in which she laid bare the human psyche. There will be two programs presented by the company as well as a Family matinee show on Saturday-March 17 at 2:00pm. New works by Lar Lubovitch and Yvonne Rainer premiere on March 13 and 15 respectively. Both programs will open with an abstract film montage which overlays excerpts of Graham dancing her psychological works with moments from psychological films of the same era. Following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run at Chichester Festival Theatre, Jonathan Church's new production of Singin' in the Rain opened last night, Wednesday 15th February at the Palace Theatre. Church's production of Singin' in the Rain, with choreography by Andrew Wright, is based on the classic 1952 MGM film and is produced in the West End by Stage Entertainment UK and Chichester Festival Theatre.

On February 16, 2012, Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) will welcome back its first music director, the visionary Sir Roger Norrington, in Haydn's Symphony No. 39 in G minor and Mozart's Symphony No. 39 in E-flat Major. Hailed by The New York Times as 'a pianist you want to hear no matter what he performs,' Jeremy Denk will make his OSL debut in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major.

Playful Productions and Michael Alden Productions present the world premier production of the original play of The King's Speech by David Seidler, who wrote The King's Speech as a play before it became a film for which he won both the Academy Award© and BAFTA for Best Screenplay. The production is currently touring the UK.

Paul Taylor-Mills, who presented MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING, in 2011 to sold out runs at Above the Stag in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe from July to November 2011 has been issued a new licence to tour the play in Spring 2012 in the UK.

Stephen Wadsworth's new production of Terrence McNally's Master Class starring Tyne Daly as the legendary opera soprano Maria Callas IS at the Vaudeville Theatre following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run on Broadway. Joining Daly are Gerard Carey (Stagehand), Jeremy Cohen (Emmanuel Weinstock), Naomi O'Connell (Sharon Graham), Dianne Pilkington (Sophie De Palma) and Garrett Sorenson (Anthony Candolino).

Marking the 50th anniversary of the 1962 publication of Ken Kasey's classic American novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest will play a limited season at the Lost Theatre, Vauxhall from Wednesday March 14 - Saturday March 31.
