Following a workshop in 2017 and a work-in-progress run over the summer, The Other Palace's production of cult hit Heathers The Musical makes its West End debut at Theatre Royal Haymarket; starring Carrie Hope Fletcher as Veronica Sawyer, it has a strictly limited engagement prior to incoming Take That musical The Band taking up the reins.

Today Arion Productions celebrates the 1st birthday of The Show People Podcast by releasing their 30th episode of their highly successful theatre podcast with special guest - performer and entrepreneur Scott Garnham.

Heathers the Musical will welcome Nathan Amzi (Aladdin, In The Heights, Rock of Ages, The Voice UK) to Westerberg High for the first time at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Nathan will be joining Carrie Hope Fletcher in the smash-hit musical until the end of the semester on 24 November.

Paul Taylor-Mills has recently stepped down as the Artistic Director of The Other Palace, though he will continue working there in the role of Affiliate Producer while also pursuing his own independent projects. He has many producing credits to his name already, including the popular In the Heights at the Southwark Playhouse and King's Cross Theatre and Heathers currently on at The Other Palace which will transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in September.

We recently caught up with Lauren Ward and Nathan Amzi while on a break from rehearsals for Prom Queen, a new musical based on the true story of Canadian teen Marc Hall who took his Catholic school board to court when they wouldn't let him attend prom with his boyfriend. The show will receive a workshop presentation at The Other Palace on 2 July.

Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail has reported that Prom Queen: The Musical, the story of a landmark win for gay rights, will receive a public UK workshop this fall at Andrew Lloyd Webber's Other Palace Theatre.

Paul Taylor Mills, previously Artistic Director, will take on a new role as Affiliate Producer at The Other Palace. His first production in this new role will be "Heathers The Musical" which transfers to the Main House after workshop presentations in The Studio.

Set up by Shaun McCourt and Leigh Lothian, West End Live Lounge continues to go from strength to strength. Returning to The Other Palace, it seems 'The Only Way Is Up' for the charity concert series after a sell-out night of Number 1's (even though George Jackson's song didn't make an appearance!)

Joining the previously announced Carrie Hope Fletcher as Veronica Sawyer, are the most popular girls in school: Jodie Steele (Chandler), Sophie Isaacs (McNamara) and T'Shan Williams (Duke) – The Heathers, with Jamie Muscato playing the mysterious teen rebel Jason Dean (JD).

On Sunday 1 April, the West End's best talents joined forces for THE MUSICAL MARATHON at The Other Palace to support Paul Taylor-Mills' efforts in raising money for the Terrence Higgins Trust. Tickets go on sale today for the Nuffield Southampton Theatres workshop production of Son of Rambow - The Musical, running at The Other Palace from 22 May - 2 June. Director of NST, Samuel Hodges, directs the musical adaptation of the hit cult film featuring an original 80s pop soundtrack by two of the UK's most successful pop writers Miranda Cooper and Nick Coler and with the book by Richard Marsh.
