HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, Liz Hurley, Grayson Perry, Bryan Adams, Philip Treacy, Alan Rickman, Marc Quinn, GeraldScarfe, Jonathan Yeo and Katherine Grainger attended the National Portrait Gallery's ticketed black-tie fundraising last night Tuesday 11 February in which opera singer Sir Willard White performed alongside the Gallery's Portrait Choir.

Well known figures will either draw or 'write' portraits for the National Portrait Gallery as it hosts a Gala fundraising event onTuesday 11 February, sponsored by the fashion designer Leon Max, it was announced today.

Last night, 7 January 2014, was the opening night for Cirque du Soleil 's award-winning production ofQuidam at the Royal Albert Hall. Having already extended the run of performances, Quidam's limited engagement in London is now booking to 16 Feburary 2014. This visit marks the final time that Quidam will be performed in the UK.
