Acclaimed jazz pianist Michael Wolff has confirmed new concerts in New Orleans and New York City, and both events will showcase and debut WOLFF & CLARK EXPEDITION, the new band he has formed with legendary drummer Mike Clark. The pair has played together for years, but it was Wolff's recent live album recording session at Vitello's in California that lead to the 'official' formation of their new group.

Legendary drummer Mike Clark will record a new, live album at Iridium Jazz Club in New York City, July 29th to 31st. Clark will be joined by his 'Indigo Blue' band, featuring an All-Star line-up of Wallace Roney (trumpet,) Donald Harrison (alto sax,) Christian McBride (bass,) Rob Dixon (tenor sax) and Antonio Farao (piano).

The Green Room Awards took place at The Famous Spiegeltent in Melbourne last night, and global favorite MARY POPPINS led the night with a total of nine awards out of its twelve nominations. Yana Alana and the Paranas in Concert, a cabaret production, was a close second for total awards with six out of eight cabaret awards.
