Tony Award nominated actress and singer Anita Gillette will return to her hometown of Baltimore to host a workshop based on her one-woman show, After All, for a single performance on Friday, May 14, as part of the UB Spotlight performance series. Gillette's mix of songs and stories will begin at 7 p.m. in the UB Student Center Performing Arts Theater, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. It will be followed by a special Q&A and a reception.

This month the Metropolitan Room welcomes back two great singers with vastly different styles and personas - the garrulous blues mamma Baby Jane Dexter, who reprises 'If' by popular demand for nine shows from April 16 to May 2, and the cosmopolitan chanteuse Anna Bergman, who brings her Richard Rodgers tribute show, 'My Heart Stood Still,' for four shows spanning two weeks, from April 18 to April 29.

Marty Geiger is appearing this week in his new cabaret show called SUMMER BABY. In the 70 minute show directed by MAC Award Winner Lina Koutrakos, Marty looks back and remembers summers past in words and music, including quite a few Broadway songs. Paul Greenwood is the Musical Director.

On September 14th, 15th and 21st (8:30PM) Anna will present her new show, My Heart Stood Still: The Love Songs of Richard Rodgers with special guest, Broadway veteran, Brent Barrett.
