DROOD's Will Chase and Stephanie J. Block Set for NY1's On Stage This Weekend

Stars Stephanie J. Block and Will Chase of Roundabout Theatre Company's The Mystery of Edwin Drood will be interviewed on NY1's "On Stage" this weekend. Air times on channel 1 include Saturday, December 29 at 9:30am and 7:30pm; Sunday, December 30 at 9:30am and 7:30pm; and Monday, December 31 (Tuesday AM) at 12:30am.

THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD's Will Chase and Rupert Holmes Set for Theater Talk Tonight

Creator Rupert Holmes and star Will Chase of Roundabout Theatre Company's The Mystery of Edwin Drood will be interviewed on "Theater Talk" beginning tonight, December 28 at 1am (early Saturday morning) on Thirteen/PBS (channel 13). Additional air times are December 29 at 8:30PM, December 30 at 12:30PM, and December 31 at 7:30AM, 1:30PM and 7:30PM. Starting January 3, the interview can also be viewed online at www.cuny.tv/show/theatertalk.

Beth Behrs, Lilla Crawford and Brian d'Arcy James Join NY Phil's Marvin Hamlisch Tribute, 12/31

The New York Philharmonic has announced that actress Beth Behrs, of CBS's 2 Broke Girls; actress Lilla Crawford, currently starring in Annie on Broadway; and star of Broadway and television Brian d'Arcy James will join the Orchestra for One Singular Sensation: Celebrating Marvin Hamlisch, a special New Year's Eve concert saluting the late composer-conductor.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is playing a limited engagement at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) through March 10th, 2013. The original end date was February 10th, 2013. Yesterday the cast gatherd at DRG Records to record the cast album of the new 2012 Broadway production. The cast album will be a two-disc set that will also include a new Act Two opening number, additional ballet music from Puffer's opium den, an additional Act One track not previously recorded and eight tracks featuring the confession of each murderer. DROOD Stars Chita Rivera and Jim Norton Set for THE JOAN HAMBURG SHOW Today

Jim Norton and Chita Rivera, stars of Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) new Broadway production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, will be guests on WOR's "The Joan Hamburg Show" today, December 5 from 1:30PM - 2PM. WOR broadcasts throughout the tri-state area on 710 AM from 12:00PM - 2:00PM.

Just last night the Benefit Concert Reading of ASSASSINS took place at Studio 54, on the same Broadway stage that Assassins thrilled audiences in 2004. The evening featured musical direction by Paul Gemignani and reunited the stars of the 2004 Tony Award winning production, including: Becky Ann Baker (Sara Jane Moore), James Barbour (Leon Czolgosz), Mario Cantone (Samuel Byck), Michael Cerveris (John Wilkes Booth), Alexander Gemignani (John Hinckley), Neil Patrick Harris (Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald), Marc Kudisch (Proprietor), Jeffrey Kuhn (Giuseppe Zangara) and Denis O'Hare (Charles Guiteau). The role of Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme originally played by Mary Catherine Garrison, was played by Annaleigh Ashford.
