CHURCHILL to Open Off-Broadway at New World Stages in February

CHURCHILL, a new play adapted and performed by Ronald Keaton, will have its Off-Broadway premiere at New World Stages, with performances beginning February 6th following an acclaimed 2014 sellout world premiere engagement in Chicago. Under the direction of Kurt Johns, CHURCHILL is based on the life and writings of one of the greatest leaders of the 20th Century. The official opening night is set for Wednesday, February 18th.

Casting for Steppenwolf's GARAGE REP 2015 Announced!

Now in its sixth year, Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents Garage Rep 2015, featuring three cutting-edge Chicago companies producing bold work in rotating repertory for ten weeks under Steppenwolf's banner. This year's Garage Rep features Cold Basement Dramatics' production of Heat Wave, Pride Films and Plays' production of Angry Fags and Red Tape Theatre's production of The Walk Across America for Mother Earth. Casting and creative teams for each production included below. Performances run February 20, 2015 - April 26, 2015 in the Garage Theatre (1624 N. Halsted St.). Press weekend is March 7 and 8. Cold Basement Dramatics Opens Fifth Season with World Premiere of POINT AND SHOOT

Point and Shoot is a devised play based on the true story of Diana Hopper, a girl born to a family of lost souls in the California desert, and her friendship with John Locke, a lonely gay man and artist with a mysterious past of his own. John plays a leading part in Diana's life as she grows into adulthood. When tragedy strikes twice, Diana's plans for her life are demolished and John's mortality is laid bare.
