Gallery New World Stages, located at 343 West 49th Street, will present THAT FACE: THE ART OF KEN FALLIN – Broadway, Hollywood & Wall Street. Curated by Bernard Stote, this exhibit will feature over 75 original works of Caricature Art of popular cultural icons from Broadway community, Hollywood, politics, and Wall Street. The work will be on exhibition from September 12th through December 31st, with a gala opening reception on September 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Opening reception will include a special raffle including a signed, limited edition art print of Book of Mormon by Mr. Fallin, as well as an open bar with food provided by a generous donation from Amarone Ristorante, and a live musical performance by Joshua Stephen Kartes (www.joshuastephenkartes.com).

Fall is quickly approaching, which means that Broadway will soon be blowing up with brand new productions. Ten plays will be eligible for Tony nominations next year, including: Romeo and Juliet, The Glass Menagerie, The Winslow Boy, A Time to Kill, Betrayal, The Snow Geese, Twelfth Night/Richard III, Macbeth, Waiting for Godot/No Man's Land, and 700 Sundays.

Starring Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley directed by Sean Mathias, the productions end their run at Berkeley Rep today, August 31. Performances will begin Saturday, October 26 at 8pm. The official opening is Sunday, November 24, 2013. This limited season will run for 14 weeks only. Berkeley Rep's discerning theatre patrons, long accustomed to high caliber performances and superior productions, were thoroughly beguiled and delighted with the special pre-Broadway presentation of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land. Starring renowned actors Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, anticipation was naturally high for their performances - not to mention those of Tony Award winners Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley - and no one left the theater disappointed. Ladies and gentlemen, Berkeley Rep has once again raised the bar. Playing for a limited engagement through August 31, No Man's Land is a formidable piece, rich with comedy while at the same time rife with menace and it is simply sublime.

Two Grants Awarded to National Corporate Theatre Fund for New Works and Theatre Education Across the U.S.

On July 10, the National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) announced it has received two significant grants that will help develop exciting new works for theatre and strengthen innovative theatre education programs at NCTF's theatres across the country. The Ford Foundation awarded $250,000 to five significant regional theatres celebrating their 50th anniversaries-Actors Theatre of Louisville, Guthrie Theater, Hartford Stage, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and Trinity Repertory Company through the National Corporate Theatre Fund. And The Hearst Foundations will award $100,000 to Impact Creativity which supports interdisciplinary and innovative theatre education programs at NCTF's 19 theatres, a critically important grant as arts education budgets are cut across the country.

NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL (NYMF), MONICA RAYMUND of SISU THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS, and CAVE 76 PRODUCTIONS have released a little Jabali (their inner beast) by adding yet another performance of the world premiere of VOLLEYGIRLS on Friday, July 26 at 1 p.m.
