He hadn't meant to fall asleep. The grass had looked so soft and he had been so tired, he thought he would lie down for just a few minutes. It was late in the afternoon when he lay down; now the sun was shining and he could hear the sounds of early morning all around him. He must have slept the whole night through. Sitting up, he rubbed his eyes. Now that he was awake, he was hungry and, feeling the chill in the morning air, wished he had his sweater. Memory returned in a flash and with it the feeling of urgency. He had to find his mom and dad.

Second Stage Theatre just celebrated its annual All-Star Bowling Classic last night, February 4 at Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge For over 25 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts. Atlanta's nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre will begin its Hertz Stage series with the world premiere of APPLES & ORANGES, a play by Tony Award, Academy Award, and Pulitzer Prize winning author Alfred Uhry. APPLES & ORANGES is based on the memoir of the same name by Vanity Fair writer-at-large Marie Brenner and was originally commissioned by the Manhattan Theatre Club. Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director of Manhattan Theatre Club, will direct the world premiere.
