Composer, lyricist and book writer, Jonathan Brielle, Artistic Director of The Development Wing served as both master of ceremonies and performer as he authored the three musicals presented that evening.

A Christmas Story, The Musical! features a bright holiday score by composer/lyricist team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and a book by Joseph Robinette based on the writings of radio humorist Jean Shepherd and the 1983 holiday film favorite. Acclaimed director/choreographer Warren Carlyle (Broadway's Finian's Rainbow, Follies at The Kennedy Center, An Evening With Hugh Jackman) will helm the production. The New York Times is reporting that at last night's evening performance of PROMISES, PROMISES, star Kristin Chenoweth was reportedly feeling 'dizzy' and missed the show's curtain call. An ambulance was called for the star (said to be a standard procedure) and she was diagnosed with mild dehydration. The show's reps tell the Times that she will miss today's matinee, but is expected back in the show tonight.
