The Broadway Boys will once again host Broadway's favorite holiday party and concert with the 6th Annual BROADWAY SINGS FOR TOYS: A Bene?t for Toys for Tots, Monday, December 19th at 7pm.
Hosted by ASTEP and SH-K-BOOM/Ghostlight Records and conceived, produced and music directed by Drama Desk-nominated orchestrator Lynne Shankel (Cry-Baby, Altar Boyz,), ASTEP's New York City Christmas again boasted an incredible line-up of artists including Tony nominees Raul Esparza (Company, Arcadia) Sherie Rene Scott (Everyday Rapture, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and Orfeh (Legally Blonde, Saturday Night Fever), as well as Sierra Boggess (Master Class, The Little Mermaid), Chester Gregory (Sister Act, Dreamgirls), Lindsay Mendez (Godspell, Everyday Rapture), Betsy Wolfe (Tales Of The City, Everyday Rapture), Andy Karl (Wicked, 9 to 5), Sally Wilfert (Make Me A Song, Assassins), recording artist Anya Singleton, David Josefsberg (The Wedding Singer, Altar Boyz) and Michael Buchanan (Addams Family, Cry-Baby). On Sunday, November 6, 2011, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), now celebrating its 20th year, will host the 2011 TRU Love Benefit at Caroline's on Broadway (1626 Broadway between 49th and 50th ). The Benefit was created to honor those who have lent standout service to the theatrical community. This year's award recipients are producer Bruce Lazarus; Ben Cameron and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation; and Lou Rodgers of Golden Fleece Limited.
