KATIE GOODMAN'S "MID-LIFE CRISIS" TOUR comes to Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, on Wednesday, January 18th at 7:00pm. Comedian and on-line celebrity, Katie Goodman, captivates her audience with her unique style of raw humor and gutsy original musical satire. Beloved jazz songbird Somi returns with a special new work-in-progress called Dreaming Zenzile, detailing the life of legendary activist and singer Miriam Makeba. Dreaming Zenzile is directed by Liesl Tommy, whose most recent works include Eclipsed (at The Public and on Broadway) and Party People (The Public), and stars Somi.

I don't think that there has ever been a person that has been in the Friars club who has not shared a laugh or left the Monastery not smiling. That in itself is a huge accomplishment, but the Friars do so much more than entertain themselves and enjoy their camaraderie. The Friars Club's Sunshine Committee (Tom DeBow chairman) is to the Friars Club what Ronald McDonald House is to McDonald's-they bring a ray of sunshine to those who need it most!
