Fly The Flag launched in 2018 on the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), with artist and activist Ai Weiwei commissioned to design a flag as a symbol for Human Rights. 

Featuring a range of artforms and practitioners, the programme represents the culmination of months of planning and preparation. Dance Films Association and Film at Lincoln Center announced today the complete lineup for the 48th edition of the Dance on Camera Festival, running July 17-20, 2020.

The 19th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its 2020 Shorts Program lineup. Setting a record with over 6,100 submissions, the final program roster includes 64 diverse and captivating short films from 20 countries around the globe, and features 46 world premieres, including DreamWorks Animation's new animated short, To Gerard. The short films will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs which include five narrative, four documentary, and one animation program. For the fourth consecutive year, 40 percent of the selections are directed by female filmmakers. Queen Collective by Procter & Gamble in partnership with Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Entertainment and Tribeca Studios is back, a program dedicated to supporting gender and racial equality behind the camera. The 2020 shorts lineup is programmed by Sharon Badal and Ben Thompson. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 15 - April 26.

The 92Y Harkness Dance Festival's all-international 2020 season continues Week 2 with Montreal's Daniel Lévéille Danse, with Catherine Gaudet, choreographer. Interested in subtle shifts in the body and micro-movements that reveal hidden sensations, Gaudet combines raw, precise corporeality, dramatic tension, obsessiveness, and the grotesque in this arresting new work for the company of five.

The 92Y Harkness Dance Festival's 2020 season opens with the newest work from the award-winning and internationally produced Jaewoo Jung. Perfect skill pairs the Seoul native with Braveman, the collaborative four-person Korean dance company he founded in 2017 with Minsoo Jung. Braveman works collaboratively and freely without separating the roles between choreographers and dancers.

Prime Cut Productions has announced an all Ireland tour of its critically acclaimed theatre double bill featuring Fintan Brady's East Belfast Boy and John Patrick Higgins' Every Day I Wake Up Hopeful.
