'Scott Alan Live: Special Edition,' is now available digitally, including iTunes (US and UK), Amazon and CDbaby. The album, recorded live at Birdland on April 30th, will also be released as a physical copy in mid-January 2013.
The IDolls brought their brand of soul divadom to The Hippodrome on Sunday 18 November as part of the Live At The Hippodrome season. The IDolls are Portia Emare, Emma Lindars and Charlotte Riby, the trio who first appeared as the Divas in the West End production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
Due to Hurricane Sandy, Scott Alan was stranded in London where he just finished recording tracks for the upcoming 'Special Edition' version of his album LIVE. Alan decided to put together an impromptu concert on November 2nd at the Hippodrome Casino in Soho. The concert featured Sierra Boggess, David Hunter, Cassie McIvor, Jamie Muscato, Cordelia Famworth, Oliver Tompsett, Stuart Matthew Price, Chloe Hart, Ashleigh Grey, Jodie Jacobs, Sidonie Smith, Philly Lopez and a contest winner plucked from the audience was Sally Faye Care, who sang 'Watch Me Soar.' The Concrete Jungle, an original work from American composer Bobby Cronin opened at the Studio Theatre of London's Arts Educational School on 8th June, 2012, and runs until the 16th June, 2012. The show follows the lives and loves of a group of young singletons who have just moved to New York City as they share stories in their local bar, 'The Concrete Jungle'.
