Forum Theatre will present Forum Reverb's Female Voices Festival from December 14 - January 28.

The Lyric Theatre on N. La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles has announced a season of four plays for 2012, which will kick off February 10 with a new production of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf by Ntozake Shange, followed by two world premieres, Jupiter Zoom by Callie Kimball, and Feedback by Jane Miller, and concluding with Aftershocks by Doug Haverty.

Join Forum Theatre as they investigate the gender imbalance in theatre through a celebration and exploration of the female voice. The Festival will kick off with the return of the Fringe hit for colored girls followed by: (Re)Acts, potluck readings, and a culminating symposium.

As a part of a century-old tradition, a photo shoot was held in Times Square today for a photoshoot featuring 'Black Stars of the Great White Way,' but not everyone was thrilled about this year's gathering.
