After a successful first series earlier this year, The Curtain Up Show returns to London's arts radio station, Resonance 104.4fm, for a new 11 week run. Tim McArthur will be joined live in the studio at midday on Friday by Sam Buttery and Katie Kerr who are currently starring as Leigh Bowery and Big Sue in the Boy George musical, Taboo, at the Brixton Clubhouse. Tim will also be joined by Joshua Miles who is currently starring opposite Anthony Andrews in Bully Boy by Sandi Toksvig at the newly opened St. James Theatre.

Sometimes when directors revive old plays you wonder why they've done it. Mack & Mabel, currently playing at Southwark Playhouse, is not a classic crying out to be brought back to life, though being about the early days of cinema it is rather on trend.
Southwark Playhouse presents a major revival of the Jerry Herman/Michael Stewart Hollywood musical, Mack and Mabel, starring Norman Bowman as Mack and Laura Pitt-Pulford (who received rave reviews as Lucille Frank in Parade) as Mabel, directed by Thom Southerland and produced by Danielle Tarento. The show will run for an 8-week season at The Vault at Southwark Playhouse, now through Saturday, August 25. Press night is tomorrow, July 11 at 7.30pm. At this performance for each ticket purchased for an adult, one child may go free. A further two tickets for children may also be purchased at half price. These prices are only applicable if the tickets are booked in one transaction.

T.R. Knight has confirmed his next project; the 'Grey's Anatomy' actor will star in PARADE at the Mark Taper Forum. The production is based on the 2007 London production, which appeared at the famed Donmar Warehouse. Knight will star as Leo Frank in the Jason Robert Brown-Alfred Uhry masterpiece.
