MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) will celebrate the company's 25th anniversary by honoring a host of MCC artists past and present at Miscast 2011. This highly anticipated annual gala will take place on Monday, March 14, 2011 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues). Andy Cohen (Host of Bravo TV's 'Watch What Happens Live') will host the evening. David Duchovny (star of the recent MCC Theater hit, The Break of Noon), Téa Leoni, Hugh Dancy (star of yet another recent MCC hit, The Pride) and Claire Danes are this year's honorary chairs. Funds raised from Miscast help MCC Theater produce some of the most talked-about new work Off Broadway and support their Youth Company and in-school partnerships that serve New York City public high school students, as well as their literary development work with emerging playwrights.

One of the most anticipated musical events of the season, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, begins previews tonight March 11, 2011 at The Neil Simon Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday, April 10, 2011.

Tony Award-winning actress Lillias White delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance 2011 Winter Workshop. Lillias White (Fela, The Life, etc.) lent her talents for a surprise Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance. The Lake Worth Playhouse continues its 58th season with the modern madcap musical comedy, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. The production features a cast of Playhouse favorites mixed with new talent from throughout South Florida. Performances run from January 21 through February 6 2011, with a Preview Night performance on January 20, on the stage of the Lake Worth Playhouse located at 713 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth.

Today, lead producers Margo Lion and Hal Luftig announced that previews for the new Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will begin on Friday, March 11, 2011 at The Neil Simon Theatre, 250 W. 52nd Street, rather than on the previously announced Monday, March 7, 2011. The four day postponement is necessary to accommodate the production's load in and technical rehearsal schedule which had been compressed due to the extension of the previous tenant at The Neil Simon Theatre, RAIN - A Tribute To The Beatles on Broadway, and then delayed by the record snowfall that has occurred in New York City. Opening Night will remain on Sunday, April 10, 2011.
