Artistic director David Loud leads a stellar Broadway cast - Allison Blackwell, Lewis Cleale, Nikki Renee Daniels, Rebecca Luker and Matthew Scott - through Porter's most exquisite creations, including songs from such smash-hit shows as Anything Goes and Kiss Me, Kate. MONDAY, JANUARY 23 at 7:00PM, the Tenants' Action Group (TAG) of 711 West End Avenue presents a special evening showcasing Upper West Side musical talent. All of the participating artists are present and former Upper West Side or 711 West End Avenue residents, who have collaborated to produce a program of repertoire with special meaning for their lives. The first half of the concert will feature classical selections performed by pianists Warren Jones, Margaret Kampmeier and Erika Nickrenz, cellist Sara Sant'Ambrogio, guitarist Andrew Schulman and former 711 West End Resident, flutist Eugenia Zukerman. The second half of the program is devoted to Broadway and cabaret with vocal selections from Britt Swanson Cryer, David Cryer, Gretchen Cryer, Nikki Renee Daniels, Anita Gillette, Jeff Kready, Quinn Lemley, Heather Mac Rae and Howard McGillin supported by pianist Nancy Ford and bassist Sean Smith. They will announce the program from the stage - along with the corresponding stories. Benefit tickets are priced at $75 (premium seating) and $50, and include a meet-the-artists' reception following the performance.

92Y announces casting for Lyrics & Lyricists new season. Having garnered audience and critical acclaim, the country's premier American Songbook series begins 2017 with Judy Kuhn, Santino Fontana, Rebecca Luker, Christiane Noll and Lauren Worsham among the performers.

Ghostlight Records yesterday released the cast album of the new musical comedy RED EYE OF LOVE. The studio cast recording of the show - which is based on an original play by Arnold Weinstein, with music bySam Davis and book and lyrics by Arnold Weinstein and John Wulp - features the Tony Award-winning Broadway star Kelli O'Hara (The King & I, South Pacific), Tony Award winner Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!, The Producers), and Josh Grisetti(Honeymoon in Vegas), in addition to a cast of Broadway favorites. This past weekend, Encores! brought back the classic Tony Award-winning musical about how the founding fathers drafted the Declaration of Independence and gave birth to a new nation. 

Santino Fontana's smart and empathetic performance highlights the production of one of Broadway's best-written musicals.

Playing the radiant Martha Jefferson will be Nikki Renne Daniels, whose extensive Broadway credits include THE BOOK OF MORMON, PORGY AND BESS, ANYTHING GOES, and LES MISERABLES. Time flies at the Eugene O'Neill! Today, stars from THE BOOK OF MORMON, including Nic Rouleau (Elder Price), Christopher John O'Neill (Elder Cunningham), and Nikki Renee Daniels (Nabulungi), celebrated five years on Broadway at the top of the Empire State Building. The company 'flipped the switch' to make the world-famous tower lights shine in white and orange for the special occasion. New York-based composer/lyricist, Scott Evan Davis, has announced the release date of his second recording, NEXT, on Sonic Landscapes Music (BMI).

Last night was the first of two nights of the 25th anniversary concert of The Secret Garden at Lincoln Center and by all reports the star-filled concert practically blew the roof off of the building. The concert performances of the TONY Award-winning musical featured a stunning Broadway and television cast, creative team, the New York City Chamber Orchestra, and a grand 200-voice chorus from across the United States. The Countess of Storyville, a new original American musical, will be performed at an invitation only developmental lab on October 22nd and 23rd at The Pearl Studios. Directed by Mark Waldrop,The Countess of Storyville, has music by Martin Silvestri, lyrics by Joel Higgins, book by R.M. Cohen and is choreographed by Denis Jones. The musicalis presented by The Pasadena Playhouse in association with Margot Astrachan and Michael Rubenstein.
