John Ingle, best known for the role of patriarch Edward Quartermaine on ABC's 'General Hospital,' died surrounded by his family in California on Sunday, September 16 after a courageous battle with cancer. His beloved wife of 57 years, Grace-Lynne Martin, passed away earlier this year on February 11, 2012 of natural causes. Ingle is survived by their five daughters, Jessica, Jenny, Carey, Melanie and Chrissy, and nine grandchildren.

The 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival will this year bestow its Donostia Awards on actors John Travolta, Ewan McGregor and Tommy Lee Jones and the Special 60th Anniversary Donostia Award going to director Oliver Stone. In 1969, Jones made his Broadway debut in John Osborne's A Patriot for Me. His other Broadway appearances include Four on a Garden and Ulysses in Nighttown.

Actress and singer Claudia Lee has been cast in the Universal Pictures action film "Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall," based on the second volume of the popular "Kick-Ass" comic book series by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. Production is slated to begin in Toronto in September, before moving to London, under the direction of Jeff Wadlow ("Never Back Down," "Cry Wolf").
Godfrey to Star in FX Comedy Series Pilot BRONX WARRANTS

FX has announced the casting of Robert Kelly (NYC 22), stand-up comedian Godfrey (Louie), Josh Segarra (Homeland) and Shirley Rumierk (White Collar) for its latest half-hour comedy pilot BRONX WARRANTS. Emmy(R)-nominated director Scott Ellis (30 Rock) will direct the pilot, which begins production in mid-August in New York.

Variety reports that DreamWorks Animation has confirmed that a third installment of KUNG FU PANDA is currently in the works. Bill Damaschke, chief creative officer for the studio, announced the news yesterday at the 2012 Comic-Con in San Diego.

Honeymoon in Vegas, a new musical, will open on Broadway in the spring of 2013 following a premiere engagement this November in Toronto. Based on the Castle Rock Entertainment Motion Picture of the same title, Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown and a book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film).
