The Rice Players will present THE ALTRUISTS, an exhilarating comedy reveling in political incorrectness, set amongst a community of hipsters in New York, New York.

Collaborative Artists Ensemble has announced their Fall production, a new adaptation of Ibsen's 'The Lady from the Sea'. Directed by Steve Jarrard, the production will open tonight, October 30th for a limited engagement.

Online submissions are being accepted beginning today through January 8 for the 2016 YALE INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC THEATRE.

The Kesselring Prize for playwriting -- given by the National Arts Club in New York since 1980 -- returns this year following a six-year hiatus with the announcement that Lucas Hnath is the recipient of the 2015 Kesselring Prize. Hnath was submitted by The Actors Theatre of Louisville for his new play The Christians, which debuted there at the Humana Festival and is currently playing off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons in NYC. The play is directed by Les Waters.

WICKED, the award-winning classic musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is delighted to welcome the American stage, television and film actor Tom McGowan to the role of The Wizard from tonight 21 September for a limited season until Saturday 12 March 2016. He will be making his West End debut.
