Beverley Knight told the Daily Mail she has extended her run in the West End production of THE BODYGUARD through May 31, 2014. The musical is booking through August 2014.

Tonight, Monday 9 September 2013, multi award-winning recording artist Beverley Knight joins the cast of the hit West End musical The Bodyguard in the lead role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron. Also joining the cast is Tristan Gemmill who takes on the role of Rachel's bodyguard, Frank Farmer.

Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage, written by Eleanor Bergstein, script writer and creator of the phenomenally successful film, features all the much-loved characters and original dialogue from the iconic film with exciting extra scenes added in. The first ever UK tour opened in Bristol in September 2011, and has since broken box office records across the country, making it one of the most successful tours in UK history. Beginning at 6:15pm today Birmingham Hippodrome will be streaming LIVE from behind the scenes of Dirty Dancing. At 6:15pm we will join the full company on stage as they complete the daily physical warm-up, then from 6.30-6.45pm we get an insight into the intense vocal warm-up before curtain up. Harriet Thorpe will take over the role of ‘Tanya' in the smash-hit musical 'MAMMA MIA' on Monday 14 June 2010. Best-known for her television roles in the BBC's 'Brittas Empire' and 'Absolutely Fabulous', Harriet's West End credits include ‘Madame Morrible' in 'Wicked', ‘Fraulein Kost' in 'Cabaret' and ‘Madame Thénardier' in 'Les Misérables'.

The premiere West End cast of the smash hit multi-award winning Broadway musical Hairspray has been announced. Michael Ball will star as Edna Turnblad, Mel Smith as Wilbur Turnblad, Leanne Jones as Tracy Turnblad and Ben James-Ellis as Link Larkin .
