According to The Hollywood Reporter, pop star Nicki Minaj is set to star in her own reality series on E!. Gossip maven Perez Hilton reports that he received exclusive confirmation from sources close to the 29-year-old singer that the project is currently 'in the works' with the network.
MTV today announced that Heidi Klum, one of the world's most renowned supermodels and superstars, will host the "2012 MTV EMA." The multi-talented and multi-tasking entertainer and entrepreneur - whose accolades run the range from fashion guru to executive producer of a hit reality franchise - will be bringing her hosting A-game to the 19th annual awards show being held in Frankfurt's historic Festhalle. The "2012 MTV EMA" will broadcast live on Sunday, 11th November at 9PM CET* on MTV channels around the world; in the U.S., the two-hour show will premiere on MTV2 at 11:00 PM ET/PT Sunday, November 11th.

Let the '2012 MTV EMA' festivities begin! MTV today unveiled the nominees for its annual celebration of the biggest musical artists from all over the globe, with reigning pop princesses Rihanna and Taylor Swift topping the list with six and five nods each, respectively.
Rihanna and Taylor Swift lead the nominations for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) picking up six each. Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga have picked up four nominations each, along with Justin Bieber.

According to TMZ, Randy Jackson has confirmed reports he will not be a judge on the next season of FOX's AMERICAN IDOL. However he will remain on the show in the role of a 'mentor.'
As first reported on ETOnline, Nigel Lythgoe will be returning as executive producer of FOX's long-running singing competition AMERICAN IDOL. An official announcement from the network is expected shortly.
TMZ is reporting that Kanye West is currently in negotiations to become a judge on AMERICAN IDOL when the FOX competition returns next season. Sources tell TMZ that 'Idol' execs have 'reached out' to West about filling one of the judge's seats recently vacated by Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
