The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich has today announced the cast of their new actor-musician production of SWEET CHARITY, which runs from Thursday 3 to Saturday 26 September 2015, directed by Artistic Director Peter Rowe.

The Watermill has announced the full company for its brand new production of The Ladykillers opening Thursday 24 September and running until Saturday 31 October, with a press night on Monday 28 September at 7.30pm.

Following a sold-out and critically acclaimed run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, the theatre is delighted to announce its "breathtakingly funny" (Guardian) production of FORBIDDEN BROADWAY will transfer to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre on Tuesday 9th September - 22nd November, with press night on Monday 15th September at 7 pm.

Fans of the show, or the film, will be turning up in droves and, quite possibly, attending more than once during this season.

The last time I saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was during the 2006 UK Productions tour which starred Dave Willetts and Shona Lindsay; a production that is close to my heart as it is one of the shows that made me want to pursue a career in theatre.

Fresh from a successful spring tour, people all around the UK have become dedicated followers of Carnaby Street and now it's set to continue swinging round the country when the 60's musical opens its autumn leg in Milton Keynes this September.

MONKEY: JOURNEY TO THE WEST, an extraordinary music-theater collaboration based on the classic Chinese folktale 'Journey to the West' from 1592, begins its final two weeks of performances as part of the 2013 Lincoln Center Festival tonight at the David H. Koch Theater. The limited engagement began performances on Sunday, July 6 and will play its final performance Sunday, July 28.

Music figures prominently in the 2013 Festival with international productions by an eclectic range of renowned composers, singers, musicians and directors. Last night, Starlight Express was celebrating 29 years to the day when it opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in the West End. Since ending an incredibly successful 18-year run in London, the production has not been very far from our stages. With one of the most impressive set designs in a resident venue, taking it out on tour was never going to be quite as lavish. H
