Thriller Live is going to Thrill the West End for at least another year - the hit show is extending its booking period by more than 12 months to Sunday 19 April, 2015. Smashing all records, Thriller Live has now played 2,173 performances at the Lyric Theatre since it first moonwalked into the West End in January 2009.
Nica Burns, co-owner of the Apollo Theatre in London, has confirmed that the venue on Shaftesbury Avenue is set to reopen later this spring following the theatre's ceiling collapsing in December.
Now according to the show's official Facebook page, the production has canceled performances through January 11 due to the damage. Those who already purchased tickets should contact the original point of purchase.
